My Night Skincare Routine!

I am back with my night routine + makeup removal, hope you guys have read & enjoyed my day time routine + a little background about me & skincare. If you have not read then click here! :D

My night routine :

You must be wondering, why so little products at night eliza? That’s because I have an awesome product which does the work of many :)

So again I’ll use Clarins Water Comfort One-Step Cleanser with Peach because it’s a good toner + removes any dirt or makeup residue (now with the clarisonic I usually don’t have any residue).

I got  the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate sometime back and I swear it is like never ending. I have been using it sooooo often but the amount in the bottle seem to alway stay the same. LOL! It has a lot of natural essential oils, which I find quite comforting on my skin especially since I sleep in an air conditioned room every night! Plus I love the scent of the essential oils! I was taught to warm the product between my hands & take a whiff of the essential oils, makes me feel sooo relaxed <3

I accompany this with my Clarins Multi-Active Night cream, which I have no picture of because I just finished it! Need to go grab a new one! If you guys didn’t know since all Clarins products contain plant extract and herb, you also have to warm the product between your hands before application
Tip: Rem to apply skincare all the way to your neck, the first signs of agings are usually seen at the eyes & neck!

For my eyes, I am using the corresponding eye cream, Midnight Recovery Eye Cream. The texture is very light and it absorbs well into my skin & helps hydrate my eye area! As for my fine lines *don’t remind me* I have not seen a significant difference honestly.

Makeup Removal

For me makeup removal is really important & something I always stress upon! If you don’t remove your makeup well even if you pile on heaps of the best skincare it’s not going to be able to work it’s charm on you!

No matter how tired, do try to remove your makeup! I usually remove it the first thing I get back home! Alternatively keep a packet of makeup removing wipes for days when you feel like you really can’t do your whole routine. Okay let’s just get to the products!

My usual team which removes all my makeup! :D

Cleansing Express Eye Makeup Remover, I can’t tell you how many bottles of this I have used,  because I have lost count! I was asking the other day on twitter for eye makeup remover suggestions and I might try the Neutrogena one because Sara always raves about it! BUT I might have to get one of this too, just incase I miss it. lol! Lame but true, it removes every grind of makeup all the waterproof mascara too!

Bioderma has recently came into my life and I am not letting it out anytime soon! It feels water-like so it feels very refreshing yet it removes your makeup very well not leaving any sticky or oily residue! Two thumbs up for that! Just a side note to add, I do hold bioderma spree from time to time and it’s a whole lot cheaper compared to guardian! Do check out my page  I’m currently holding a spree!

Honestly before I got bioderma this is all I used philosophy purity x Clarisonic. I still do use it but I do prefer how bioderma feels on my skin. My routine now is to use philosophy purity x Clarisonic when I have more makeup on. Otherwise I use my Clarisonic in the morning! I cannot live without my Clarisonic since I’ve had it, it changed my skin! Like I’ve said previously I have never had bad skin so I am not sure if it can clear acne & all. BUT I have noticed it does make my skin look clearer and more radiant.

Miscellaneous

I am calling this category miscellaneous because I really don’t know how else to classify them. These are the products which I use as and when I need them but not on a regular basis.

I bought the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner after LASIK, due to not being able to wash my face properly I started feeling like my face was very oily and zits were craving on the oil and popping on my face! I am actually very bad with zit management, if I ever get one I’ll whine & complain to gf not knowing how to handle them.LOL! Tea Tree Oil is for me to counteract my zits, it’s alright not something I’ll say is a must have honestly, but I do love how the toner feels!

I got the Belif First Aid Overnight Brightening Mask just because I was curious. It is to be applied on bare skin and left on overnight! It does feel pretty nice and soothing on the skin, the next morning skin does feels slightly smoother and softer! It contains a lot of rich ingredients like pearl, gold flakes, black truffle & more.

Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is something I recommend to a lot of people! It is very hydrating, so you do have to be careful if you get milia seeds easily, like me! Which is also the reason why i don’t use it on a daily basis, it is just a tad too rich! However it does help hydrate my under eye area really well, helping to smoothen out my fine lines! :D :D :D :D

Sooooo, I hope the wait for this post was worth it. LOL! This is how I keep my skin so clear and radiant. Of course I do wake up and have blah skin days not saying that I have perfect skin everyday okay!

This is what works well for me and helps keep my skin looking the way it is. Also I do not really use foundation & if I do I try to stick to light weight foundation! Remember your lifestyle will also affect your skin, sleep, exercise, drink LOADS OF WATER your skin will thank you by making you look pretty :)

Hope this 2 posts has helped any of you girls who are planning to try any of these products or have doubts about skincare. I did not go in to absolute details on what each product does i.e. why toner/serum/moisturizer is important, it will just become too lengthy! If you have any questions at all about these products or just skincare in general, feel free to email, tweet, form spring or leave me a comment! A lot of platforms for you to use so be sure you ask if you’re unsure okay! :D
