Wooo! I’m back! Sorry for the MIA-ness, I really have not much of an excuse. LOL! Anyway I know this is quite long overdue but I still need to give this product some loving on the blog! If you read my The Balm haul entry, you would know that I managed to snag these awesome blushers for such a great price during their sale. My first encounter with TheBalm has been nothing but awesome and I am really enjoying their products!
Instain is the new line of blusher which TheBalm has! It is supposed to act as a ‘cheek stain’, meaning longer wearing blusher! I am a blusher fanatic, so anything that will help my cheeks remain rose-y throughout the day I’m all over it! I find that alot of time blushers don’t last the whole day & by the end of the day I just look like I did not wear blusher on that day.
These has just totally changed that for me, because of they act as a ‘cheek stain’ they do last all day on me! These blusher really do live up to their name & they do leave a stain on the cheeks. I really feel like these blushers are some of the most long lasting, if not the most long lasting blushers I own (& I do own quite abit of blusher)!
I cannot rave enough about the packing, it’s just so pretty! The sleeve adds a nice touch, though I think it might not be totally necessary to have it because I would think most people would just toss them out. They do help to keep your blushers from opening during travel. They are definitely perfect for travel as they are soooo slim and light weight!
Another thing I found super awesome about the site is that the colours on the site are actually pretty much true to colour! This makes buying these online such a breeze!
The colours are pretty pigmented so go easy and slowly build the colour.
Pinstripe & Swiss dot! <3
To be honest I really love swiss dot alot more. I don’t think I’ve felt like wearing plum blushers since I got back to Singapore years ago & I don’t know why? Maybe because I used to wear plummy blushers during the winter months and I don’t feel winter at all, wait that’s because we don’t even have winter.lol.
Swiss dot+ Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight Celestial Powder = Perfection! <3
This has been my go-to combo for the month of July!
I would recommend these blushers to everyone! The range of colours allows everyone to be able to find their perfect shade, plus are so pigmented and last all day. It’s really all I can ask for in a blusher! (:
They retail for USD22 on thebalm.com and S$36 (don’t quote me on this) in Sasa.
