The best of the best!! :D

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a fabulous countdown! My whole blog post got deleted at the strike of 12!How ironic, so here I am re-typing it! I guess new beginnings? haha I don’t know! Anyway this post is just all about my faves & really the best (for me) in 2010! 2010 was amazing, I learned so much more about makeup, discovered more, tried out more, met more people. It was great!

Beauty wise I really wanted to share with you guys all these amazing products! I hate keep great things to myself! So I hope you guys enjoy it & let’s jump right into it now! This was so so so hard but I managed to get down to these products!

Clarins Brightening Serum – If you guys read my blog, you would know that I just purchased this not too long ago. I have been using it for about 2 months or slightly lesser. I have to say this product is amazing! I use the whole series (almost), so the toner, serum & day lotion, when I use this on a daily basis I just see such a difference! I am blessed with pretty good skin, so sometimes I don’t really get to see skin care working on me, but this boy I definitely see it working it’s charm! It has made my skin brighter & more glowy. Even when I don’t have makeup on I still look glowy which I love!

Nars Casino Bronzer – This is my first ever NARS product, which I purchased in brissy for 70ish AUD! A hefty price but I love it! It has been through alot with me, the travel back to Singapore left it shattered in pieces ): I still love it & now it’s almost gone, which makes me upset but that’s a testament to how much I love it! I use it to contour and on really cold winter days in brissy I use it to warm up my skin- I can get pretty light in winter. It has tiny reflects hence it will not look flat on your skin! (:

Mac MSF Natural – Need i say more? This is amazing to set foundation and on days I want just a slight coverage I just swirl my kabuki in and buff it on my face & viola! I’m out the door!

Revlon Colour stay – Another well loved product! I have only 1 use left of it, I am thinking if I should get another on! It’s quite pricey in Singapore! I love this product, stays all day doesn’t budge. Very good for humid places like Singapore! I like the fact that they have different skin type formulation hence it does not make me too dry or oily! Kudos Revlon!

Soft Lips – No particular scent, this is just the current one I’m using! I’ve gone through tubes of these! love them to bits! I am  not sure if it is available in SIngapore, since i got it in Brissy ( bought a few back ups!). It has the most amazing scent! I love love love the smell, it is so buttery & soft. What’s there not to love really?

Benefit Moon Beam – Benefit has done it again! I love love moonbeam! I mix it with my foundation or just swipe some over my cheekbones and it looks va va voom! I am all about cheeks and this has really made my year a more glowy one! It has gold undertones with is perfect for girls who are tanner like me! I love this!

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer – I got this product in Brissy this year & I have to say this is the creamy-est (is there even sucha word?) concealer I have ever tried! I have not tried many concealer but this really does it for me. I get pretty bad dark circles when I was in Uni, and even now when I’m working and this does it for me!

Urban Decay Primer Potion – I love this product! It just helps my shadows stay on for the longest time ever! I love how it can withstand the humidity. I feel like Singapore’s weather is a test of how good a primer is, if it doesn’t crease & if the shadow still looks amazing after a day. It has passed the test of humidity!

Urban Decay Naked Palette – Enough said! I mean you need neutral, there it is, dramatic, there it is, smokey there it is too! So I mean this palette has to be the best of 2010 hands down!

Benefit Brow-zing – I got this when I was holiday-ing in Sydney, the MA was super sweet and nice! I got this for my graduation and boy this was so handy! When i got back to Singapore I was trying new threading places and both times they messed u up my brows! :( This definitely takes up more time than a brow pencil but this is definitely more precise

Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Ink – I love gel liners and this is amazing! I have extremely water-y eyes so nothing stays on my waterline! This stays on the longest for me personally, it does not budge on my upper lash line at all! This eye liner is so so creamy! I just love it!

Lorea Extra – Volume Collagen – I love love love this masacra! This really does it for me! I got this in Brissy not sure if you can get it in Singapore, I saw something similar but I’m not too sure if they are the same product! I might try it soon! This really gives my lashes so the craziest amount of volume! I have been asked if I was wearing falsies when I wore this mascara, so this is love! (:

Marc Jacob Daisy – This is my first perfume ever my mom got for me! I am not a girl who likes flower-y scent but this is love! It smells so good & it is not very strong which I like! If you have not smelt this I think you should! It is so girlie (:

Earths Organics -  I usually don’t like lotion because I feel it’s way too light and water-y but this is not at all! The consistency is so great, feels more like cream than lotion, it is so luxurious and absorbs so well into my skin. The scent is amazing! I mean tangerine + ginger might sound odd but this is just amazing! I love the scent heaps!

Vera Wang Princess – If something has vanilla in it, trust me I’m all over it! I love love love vanilla scents! This is so feminine but it is not over powering! I love the scent just subtle but makes you feel so well dressed!

Keratase Relax Slim Deep Conditioner – This year I decided to venture into the brand keratase which is not cheap at all, but to date I have 2 products and both I really love! This makes my hair so soft & reduces frizz on my hair which is great! You don’t need a lot of product for it to work, so a little goes a long way! I have to try more of kerarase stuff in the new year & I’m excited! :D

I did not include blush because I just could not choose! I have way too many, so let’s just leave it as that! :p

Okay I’m glad to be posting this entry, thanks to onsugar I’ve written this post like 5-6 times?! crazy I know, I’m getting sick of all my favorites haha how ironic!

I hope you guys are having a fabulous day & HAPPY NEW YEAR! Leave your best of 2010 in the comments below and if you try any of these products do leave me a comment too! :D

Okay got to get ready to go out for my new year day’s lunch! Love you all!

Operation Blush Out & my ubber cheap blush! :)

I know I’ve been away for a really long time BUT my current job is running/organizing events which makes me super duper busy! So I’m so sorry for being away. Since I just started working I have heaps to do & I still need to get around my schedule.

I’m so far into my operation blush out, it makes me kinda excited! :D I mean I know I have a gazillion blushes but using them all one by one makes me realise the reason I fell in love with it & bought it! :D I have huge variety of blushes from all brands in this post. I kinda went out of my MAC bubble which you guys always see me using  :p haha I love MAC & NARS alot but I like trying new things!

Day 13 I used Makeup Forever HD Blush #2 in caught in the act. I know it looks very scary in the bottle but you just need the littlest (is there even sucha word?)amount & it gives a pretty pink look, not like how it looks in the bottle! :D On top I used MAC peachtwist, I like mixing colours because I think they look nicer after abit of a mix! :D I can’t really wear MAC peachtwist on it’s own, it doesn’t show up very well on my skintone! It will look really gorgeous on fairer skin though :p

This is the highly highly raved product which one of my friends in the states managed to grab for me! :D Though MAC promotes it as highlight powder but it is really not! It is very corals & pink colour! :D It’s so pretty when worn & it is perfect for every skin tone! The seahorse-y used to be gold! but it was just an overspray! I kinda wish the seahorse-y was solid gold colour, that would be perfect!

Day 15! Dior blush in strawberry sorbets!! I love it because it has 2 tone colours, it makes the blush look more natural, since you can customize it to suit you. You can use the darker one to do light contouring & place the light pink on the apples. Looks really pretty!! I used MAC soft & gentle MSF as a highlight, I love having glowy looking cheeks & soft & gentle as the name suggest is so subtle but you can definitely still see it.

Not a common sight right?haha Milani bronze glimmer! You can use it as a contouring + blush + highlight. I ordered this online from drugstore.com! The top colour is like a cream white colour, a mauve colour, orange bronze-y colour, raspberry colour & a darker brown plumish colour! haha that was a mouthfull! :p I just swirled it all together & used it instead of using it colour by colour.

Another non familiar brand for you guys yeah? :) I just tried this blush out I quite like it! I will be doing a review in maybe 1-2 weeks time after I use it abit more! :D  This is a coral colour with micro gold shimmers, it reminds me a teeny tiny bit of orgasm from nars! :D Read the full review when it’s out because it is really exciting! The price of the blush makes me even more excited! It’s only USD3! haha yeap! Stay tunned for the full review! :D

I love bobbi brown in raspberry, this is gorgeous which can be used on the lips & cheeks! I only used it as a blush & topped it with MAC plum foolery which made it even prettier. I like to use powder blushes on top of cream blushes because cream blushes just stay on till forever! haha I knicked it abit when I was trying to take a photo! haha I’m sucha klutz! haha

Okay last combo of the week! It’s day 19!how fast right? I’ve been in this for 19 days! almost 3 weeks! wow! I will be finishing soon, maybe in a week or so time! :D haha I really enjoyed this but will talk about that more in the last operation blush out post! :D Anyways! I used MAC Vintage Grape Ombre blush (Yeap, another ombre!) & MAC Shell pearl beauty powder, i LOVE this! it’s so subtle & unlike MAC MSFs it’s shimmer is alot more refined! which is makes it really subtle, this combo is quite interesting since vintage grape is a pinkish-purplelish colour, if not worn properly can look like a bruise! haha!

That’s a wrap! :) Kind of a mouthful! With that many blushes! If you want to see swatches of any blush just leave a comment below! :)

Stay tunned to the next post! It’s gonna be a haul which is always exciting to me at least! :D I love reading blog post on hauls & watching videos on hauls! & I have swatches for everything I bought during my haul! :)

Hope you guys had a great weekend & I’ll see you all soon! :D
