NARS Satin Lip Pencils Swatches & Review!

Hello! I’m sure from my IG you would have already known my not-so-recent haulage of these NARS lip satin pencils & let’s just get it out there, I LOVE THEM. I mean they are all I want to wear ever since they have joined my collection!

I went down with Mabel, Sophia & Sara to get these awesome babies & I decided to pick up 4 gorgeous colours!

As always, the classic NARS black packaging! If you are wondering where to find these, you can find them at the NARS counter at Tangs Beauty Hall for S$37 for 0.07oz or 2.2grams.

I love how the tips looks, so round & chubby looking (definitely doesn’t look like that now.lol). NARS come out with a good range of colour, but there were definitely alot more brights compared to neutrals! However there seem to be a neutral for EVERY skin tone, no joke! NARS did well, as always!

I love love how NARS always put the colour of the pencil at the ends of the pencil, it’s so much easier for you to know which colour you’re grabbing without having to open the caps!

The downside which everyone have already been talking about is that you have to sharpen these pencils, it’s not a biggie to me honestly. They feel sooo nice I could live with sharpening them! I figured it might be because they are soooo creamy that if they were to be in a retractable tube, they might melt easily. *don’t quote me on this please! Purely my own deduction!*

Swatches! You can see that all the colours are soooo pigmented & gorgeous! If you’re wondering why there is 1 extra swatch, I’ll explain later!

I know everyone was saying how Yu was like super gorgeous, must have etc but before I went to NARS telling my gf & Sara, I won’t be getting Yu! Haha, who knew one swatch & I was sold. I need it in my life! I am usually very scared of such colours because they tend to be more blue-tone & they look terrible on me IMO but Yu has such a nice-not-too-blue undertone! It is still bright, but I love bright lips!

Disclaimer : Please ignore the ‘spidery’ looking lashes, I was trying a different mascara & I hate it so please don’t remind me. Thankyouverymuch.

Luxembourg is probably my favourite bold colour! It’s very wearable (to me) since I do have pretty pigmented lips I do not really like nude shades! For me it’s the perfect kind of raspberry colour but it is very very bright & pigmented! You can also use it as a stain so that you don’t get the full ‘impact’ of the brightness!

Majella is also one of those colours I was eyeing even before it was launched! It is such a gorgeous red, which isn’t too warm or cool so it’s worn easily by most skin tones!

Palais royal is a very vampy dark shade (though in the picture it isn’t showing off as vampy!) I contemplated getting this or Hyde Park which is super gorgeous toooo! Bagged this home & I can say I don’t regret! It is alot darker than what I would usually wear, but it looks lovely as a stain & I don’t think it looks too bad on me (if I could say so myself.lol).

So, I picked up Het-loo a week after I got the rest. I was soooooo addicted to wearing these awesome lip pencils that I really did not want to use another lip product! I happen to be wearing a brighter lip colour & did not want to wear a bright lip colour, hence I decided I need a nude! I mean it should have occurred to me to get a nude amongst all the bright, but evidently I was soo drawn to the brights! I ended up picking Het-loo which I lOVE!!! It’s the perfect everyday nude, it doesn’t give me the dead look & would lovely if you have got tanner skin like me!

I know because all the other colours are so bright, this looks kinda blah. But trust me, this is a very nice nude for the days where you would like to play it down!

So that’s a round up of my NARS lip satins! They feel soooooo soft and creamy & definitely goes on like a dream! The darker colours do give abit of stain and they do hold up pretty well through out a meal.

I love them & I feel like everyone must try these, though it’s really hard to stop at 1! You have been warned!

What I Got For Christmas – Beauty Edition!

Hey girls!

So I know it’s January already (how fast right?) but I promised to do my what I got for Christmas, beauty edition! A little late but better late then never right? If you are the kind who don’t like haul or massive amount of new products mashed into a post, wait for my next post okay!

Quick overview of all the beauty products that I received from my awesome family & friends! They help feed my beauty obsession. Heh heh.

Woooooooots! I’ve actually not played around with all of them yet! Do let me know which products you would like to see a review of first okay!

Okayyyyy, let’s get on with all the individual products, shall we?

Philosopyyyyy! I think since philosophy hit our shores, I have been all over the brand! I am almost done with my shower gel, I swear they last forever & they foam up like no other, probably because it also doubles up as a bubble bath or if I may say triple up since it is also a shampoo!

Suga plum fairy & snow angel are both scents released just for the holiday season, so I was so glad I got it for Christmas! As for Snow Angel I have been eyeing it since I got a whiff of it & omg, love love love it! I wish I managed to snag the body wash when it was available but oh wells, gotta wait till the end of this year.

Mac crushed pigments! Wooooooooots! This year I was so sure I would buy something from the Mac holiday collection, but I didn’t. So getting these crushed pigment sets made me soooooooo excited! I tried Mac crushed pigments for the first time in 2012 & I LOVE THEM! They are much better than the normal pigments, they actually do feel very creamy. I know it’s a tad baffling how pigments can feel creamy, I don’t know how they do it but it really is!

I’ve not played with them yet, so I’m really excited to bust them out of the box!

Love love love the colours & the pigmentation! Imagine it with a primer or used wet! Ooooh <3 I must say that this set is pretty unique, I’ve got a crush on you is a really pretty colour which looks different in different lighting hits it!

I really love love love Dusty Desire! I can’t wait to use them! Pretttyyyyy! Femininity looks stunning & so unique in the pot!

The next thing is EXTREMELY EXCITING!!!!! My first ever TOM FORD PRODUCT! *SCREAAAAMS*

The bestest GF got me this! I wanted to YSL holiday palette so much, but by the time we wanted to grab it, it was already SOLD OUT! Hence we walked around Tangs, feeling dejected! GF said I should swatch this TF shadow, honestly I feel TF blushers are just okay so I wasn’t that excited about swatching the shadows BUTTTTTT I think TF shadows are actually pretty awesome

I was tossing to & fro between this & another colour – which I can’t even remember which one. LOL!

Behold, my first ever Tom Ford product! Wooohooo! Don’t mind the photo-bomb. Hehe.

They don’t emboss the TF on the shadows! It’s actually embossed on the plastic placed on top of the product.

The shadows are really luxurious & they look so pretty! I love love the 2nd & 3rd colour the most! The picture doesn’t do it justice at all!!! I wore it out & momsie was complimenting my eye look!

Oh another thing reallyyyyy cool! The palette is able to open up fully & lay flat down!

Random brands thrown together, but I love them all.

I actually picked this up myself since i’ve been hearing so much raves about it, especially MissGlamorazzi! It is so so so prettyyy!!! When I went to pick it up, it was the LAST one! In fact the SA in Tangs told me that it’s all sold out! Refusing to believe I can’t find it, I went to Ion & managed to get it! YAY! BUT BUT BUT I dropped & it CHIPPED 2 days after I got it. >.<

My first ever YSL polish! Wooooots! It feels very watery when you look at it, but when applied it applies like a dream! First YSL polish and I’m definitely not going to stop at 1!

Picture from Instagram which I mention, the colour in real life is much much darker & deeper. Which honestly I am not a huge fan, but I’ll still use it & I still love it.

Nars Pure Matte in Carthage & Nars Lippie in CatFight!

Both of these are colours which I usually don’t gravitate towards! I have to wear CatFight slightly sheered out else I’ll look ghastly! Carthage looks like a really bright pink & it really is, but I love it! It is my first pure matte lippie & i LOVE it! It doesn’t even really feel drying at all!

Finally the last brand, Givenchy. Another first & I was pretty stoked!

First 2 products from Givenchy & I am eyeing the shadows too, I swatched them and it felt very luxurious & pigmented!

There are 4 different coloured powder, honestly I was attracted to the pastel coloured powder but but it was a tad to shimmery

I love the cover, & how the hole to dispense the powder are all ‘G’s.

The only time the sponge will look so gorgeous! It looks all messed up already.lol!

I was so enticed by the gloss too! #makeupjunkie Plus I love love the packaging! When you first apply the gloss, the brush head is super hard, which is probably how you can tell that no one has used it before! By the end of the first application it becomes soft just like how any lipgloss brush would feel like!

It’s actually just a clear gloss but it has coppery coloured shimmers in it so it’s really gorgeous! I much prefer how it looks in the tube to be honest and if it applied as the rich colours it appears to be, that would be stunning!

Hope this long entry was somewhat interesting, just sharing the beauty stuff I got for Christmas & I am sooooo excited to get to play with these new beauties! Will be aiming to do more tutorials (yes, tutorials!) & reviews on elizabeauty in 2013! :D

NARS in Singapore finally + my haul!

So, I am a month late on this! My apology, I’ve been so caught up with soo many things! Anyway I was sooooo excited the moment I heard NARS was hitting our shores, but when I went to the counter in Tangs I was kinda underwhelmed. It might be due to my extensive makeup collection, lol or the fact that they don’t have a huge array of colours *think mac, urban decay*. I really wanted to get a blusher but nothing really caught my fancy! To be honest NARS does have a pretty small colour range, especially so for their lippies I feel!

Anyway enough blabbering! I finally decided I wanted to get something & settled for 2 nail polishes since I’ve never had any polishes from NARS & I love them!!!

I got 1 from the Andy Warhol collection! Gotta love the packaging!

The 2 polishes I picked up! New York Dolls (NARS x Andy Warhol) & Schiap (which is also one of the most popular colours!)

Eye candy! *woooots* I really like how the NARS word is printed on the bottle!

Application wise, it is very very smooth and applies with ease. It also dries really quickly too!

Schiap on my nails with 2 coats! So gorgeous!! Totally my kinda colour! <3

Price wise NARS polishes retails for $30, I was kinda expecting that price range after all NARS has always been more on the high end side!

NARS Eyeshadow Collection Swatches!

As we all would have already known, NARS is gonna be the new kid on the block! Hitting our shores in the last quarter of the year, I’m sure it’s making everyone exciting, beauty junkies in particular aka me

Anyways, I thought I’ll just do a small NARS shadow collection post since I just got 2 new duos! I don’t have a lot of NARS shadows but I have enough to make me happy *for awhile* LOL.

I must say like everyone else, their packaging is not my favorite, especially in humid Singapore. You can see which duo above is new and which has been well loved!

The single shadows are soooo adorable! Gf got them for me while she was in HK!

One of my new duos, habanera! I love love love the green! <3 Wore it and got so many compliments!

Rajasthan was my 2nd duo! I think it is limited edition and I love using the darker shade on my lower lash line!

Underworld is also a newly acquired duo! I have not used this however I can’t wait to! The swatch looks sooo pretty!

I love Kuala Lumpur‘s lighter shade! It has tiny gold specks and even the darker cranberry shade has tiny gold specks too!

Isolde was my first NARS duo ever! I really love this, super neutral, so easy to throw on!

Kalahari is the most natural one I have! Just wearing this 2 shades on my lids makes it look like I have very minimal eyeshadow but still helps makes my eyes look pretty! Love how the darker shade blends so nicely!

Lhasa is something I don’t often gravitate to! It is a grey-ish purple with a lot of brown undertones!

Ashes to ashes, such a pretty brown, neutral with a bit of taupe, such a perfect throw on colour.

Of course every NARS addict collection is not complete without their smudge proof primer! Mad <3

NARS Single Eyeshadow Haul + Swatches

Just a quick post coz I posted a teaser on my instagram (@elizabeauty) so I feel like I should share this with you guys!

So my awesome gf went to HK & I had to ask her grab me some stuff from NARS, although I know that NARS is hitting our shores soon.

Guess what? Okay if you read the title you would have already known.LOL! These are my first NARS single shadows, I’ve got duos which I adore to bits (got 3 more on the way!). I have heard sometimes NARS shadows (a few of them) are hit or misses, but I did my research & I know these are the tried & true shades which I adore too!

Honestly if you were to look on NARS official site, their picture colours are pretty accurate too!

Sorry I actually photographed them before but I didn’t realize due to the gloomy day they looks like the same colour & I had to shoot them again :/ Hence the fingerprints, honestly it drives me crazy LOL!

I’ve been wanting ashes to ashes but I chanced upon Lhasa while searching for swatches! Some say that Lhasa is limited edition, maybe it was but anywhoo gf managed to get it for me!

Such a pretty brown, neutral with a bit of taupe, such a perfect throw on colour. I think it would be nice as a lid colour or in the crease!

Lhasa is something I don’t often gravitate to! It is a grey-ish purple with a lot of brown undertones! I have been using this continuously since I got it for the past 3 days in my crease, with something light like Stilla kitten on my lids. Sooooo pretty & subtle but still helps to enhance the eyes!!

Swatches! It’s pretty surprising it looks pretty similar on my skin! If you’re fairer it will look like 2 really different colours, however on me the difference is not super obvious! I’ve not used ashes to ashes on my lids yet so I am not sure how it will turn out!

Pretty obvious that Lhase has a purplish hint to it though! Both really pretty colours, pigmentation & staying power are all exceptional like all NARS shadows! <3 <3

I might do swatches again, or add another swatch on this post when the sun is shining brightly! I swatches these on a gloomy day it might have affected the colour?

I feel so rambly, I probably am rambling too much, so I better leave you guys with this!

Hong Kong Haulage!

Hey guys!

So I’ve been so busy & I might not actually blog about my whole HK trip esp since this space should be left for more beauty related stuff! I just decided that it would be great to share with you guys the damaged I made when I was in HK!

I kinda went crazy because there are soooo many high street brands which I have always wanted to try but we don’t get them in Sg

I got NARS Sheer Glow in Syracuse, Eyeshadow in Kalahari, Blush in Taos and Illuminator in Orgasm (which if you didn’t know I already have! I am trying to sell this off! They changed the packaging and I was confused!). Laura Mercier holiday lip glaze, YSL touche eclat in number 3, Mac Mattine Deliciously Forbidden and Bobbi brown shimmer brick in bronze and the creamy concealer and corrector!

I love the NARS foundation and if you guys want I can do a review but I know there are TONS out there already!!

I love the shadow! It’s so neutrally which I love! Taos blush is SO pigmented and it’s really gorgeous! I might do a tutorial soon!

I didn’t swatch the Bobbi Brown concealer because it’s my back up

I love this shimmer brick I have been using it almost everyday! <3 it!

Some high end skin care which I always repurchase! Some for mom too! & some stuff from SASA!! I lOVE the dolly wink liner (review soon! . I got my fav eye makeup remover from Mandom & I decided to try a new one from Kose!

I got the LUSH massage bar, I got 2 infact because I always stock up on thoses when I travel but now I don’t have to since LUSH is in SG! Yay

I loveeee genefiq! It works so well! That is one of me and one of my mom! We totally dig it! Make your skin look soooo good!

I kinda went crazy for Essie too! It’s my latest obsession!

The best of the best!! :D

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a fabulous countdown! My whole blog post got deleted at the strike of 12!How ironic, so here I am re-typing it! I guess new beginnings? haha I don’t know! Anyway this post is just all about my faves & really the best (for me) in 2010! 2010 was amazing, I learned so much more about makeup, discovered more, tried out more, met more people. It was great!

Beauty wise I really wanted to share with you guys all these amazing products! I hate keep great things to myself! So I hope you guys enjoy it & let’s jump right into it now! This was so so so hard but I managed to get down to these products!

Clarins Brightening Serum – If you guys read my blog, you would know that I just purchased this not too long ago. I have been using it for about 2 months or slightly lesser. I have to say this product is amazing! I use the whole series (almost), so the toner, serum & day lotion, when I use this on a daily basis I just see such a difference! I am blessed with pretty good skin, so sometimes I don’t really get to see skin care working on me, but this boy I definitely see it working it’s charm! It has made my skin brighter & more glowy. Even when I don’t have makeup on I still look glowy which I love!

Nars Casino Bronzer – This is my first ever NARS product, which I purchased in brissy for 70ish AUD! A hefty price but I love it! It has been through alot with me, the travel back to Singapore left it shattered in pieces ): I still love it & now it’s almost gone, which makes me upset but that’s a testament to how much I love it! I use it to contour and on really cold winter days in brissy I use it to warm up my skin- I can get pretty light in winter. It has tiny reflects hence it will not look flat on your skin! (:

Mac MSF Natural – Need i say more? This is amazing to set foundation and on days I want just a slight coverage I just swirl my kabuki in and buff it on my face & viola! I’m out the door!

Revlon Colour stay – Another well loved product! I have only 1 use left of it, I am thinking if I should get another on! It’s quite pricey in Singapore! I love this product, stays all day doesn’t budge. Very good for humid places like Singapore! I like the fact that they have different skin type formulation hence it does not make me too dry or oily! Kudos Revlon!

Soft Lips – No particular scent, this is just the current one I’m using! I’ve gone through tubes of these! love them to bits! I am not sure if it is available in SIngapore, since i got it in Brissy ( bought a few back ups!). It has the most amazing scent! I love love love the smell, it is so buttery & soft. What’s there not to love really?

Benefit Moon Beam – Benefit has done it again! I love love moonbeam! I mix it with my foundation or just swipe some over my cheekbones and it looks va va voom! I am all about cheeks and this has really made my year a more glowy one! It has gold undertones with is perfect for girls who are tanner like me! I love this!

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer – I got this product in Brissy this year & I have to say this is the creamy-est (is there even sucha word?) concealer I have ever tried! I have not tried many concealer but this really does it for me. I get pretty bad dark circles when I was in Uni, and even now when I’m working and this does it for me!

Urban Decay Primer Potion – I love this product! It just helps my shadows stay on for the longest time ever! I love how it can withstand the humidity. I feel like Singapore’s weather is a test of how good a primer is, if it doesn’t crease & if the shadow still looks amazing after a day. It has passed the test of humidity!

Urban Decay Naked Palette – Enough said! I mean you need neutral, there it is, dramatic, there it is, smokey there it is too! So I mean this palette has to be the best of 2010 hands down!

Benefit Brow-zing – I got this when I was holiday-ing in Sydney, the MA was super sweet and nice! I got this for my graduation and boy this was so handy! When i got back to Singapore I was trying new threading places and both times they messed u up my brows! This definitely takes up more time than a brow pencil but this is definitely more precise

Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Ink – I love gel liners and this is amazing! I have extremely water-y eyes so nothing stays on my waterline! This stays on the longest for me personally, it does not budge on my upper lash line at all! This eye liner is so so creamy! I just love it!

Lorea Extra – Volume Collagen – I love love love this masacra! This really does it for me! I got this in Brissy not sure if you can get it in Singapore, I saw something similar but I’m not too sure if they are the same product! I might try it soon! This really gives my lashes so the craziest amount of volume! I have been asked if I was wearing falsies when I wore this mascara, so this is love! (:

Marc Jacob Daisy – This is my first perfume ever my mom got for me! I am not a girl who likes flower-y scent but this is love! It smells so good & it is not very strong which I like! If you have not smelt this I think you should! It is so girlie (:

Earths Organics - I usually don’t like lotion because I feel it’s way too light and water-y but this is not at all! The consistency is so great, feels more like cream than lotion, it is so luxurious and absorbs so well into my skin. The scent is amazing! I mean tangerine + ginger might sound odd but this is just amazing! I love the scent heaps!

Vera Wang Princess – If something has vanilla in it, trust me I’m all over it! I love love love vanilla scents! This is so feminine but it is not over powering! I love the scent just subtle but makes you feel so well dressed!

Keratase Relax Slim Deep Conditioner – This year I decided to venture into the brand keratase which is not cheap at all, but to date I have 2 products and both I really love! This makes my hair so soft & reduces frizz on my hair which is great! You don’t need a lot of product for it to work, so a little goes a long way! I have to try more of kerarase stuff in the new year & I’m excited!

I did not include blush because I just could not choose! I have way too many, so let’s just leave it as that! :p

Okay I’m glad to be posting this entry, thanks to onsugar I’ve written this post like 5-6 times?! crazy I know, I’m getting sick of all my favorites haha how ironic!

No way, $3 Blush?

As a beauty junkie/guru/obsessed person (whatever you want to call me) I like everyone get really excited when I chance upon cheap & good deals The next thing that makes me really excited is sharing them with you guys! We must never keep all the good stuff for ourselves right? haha!

About a month ago, I was introduced to this brand La Femme prior to that I have never heard of this brand! Being the blush addict I am & having sources telling me La Femme make highly pigmented cheap blushes, I was all over it in no time!The next thing I am going to say is going to make you freak out BUT they only cost USD$3! Yes! I am not even kidding!

I placed my first order, still slightly skeptical on the quality of these blushes. When I received them in th mail, I was dying to rip the box apart & use the blush on my face!!haha. I did rip the box apart & there they were. The long awaited cheap-but-highly-pigmented-blush! They came nicely bubble-wrapped which is always nice. It does not have the prettiest packaging (Think : Benefit) but hey for $3 I think it’s really pretty good! I got myself 4 colours, just to try it out and I was taken aback on how pigmented these blushes really are! When I was told these blushes were pigmented I didn’t expect them to be this pigmented!

The four colours I got – Red, Golden Sunset, Teracotta and Dusty Rose. (wow, they look similar! :/ )

Honestly I think the one let down of this blushes were that they were not compacted as well as I would like them to be. Just swirling your brush in the product results in quite bit of fall out, but once you have applied it to your cheeks it stays on! I just want to put it out that I am comparing it with brands like MAC, Nars which cost quite a few more times more than La Femme. However, if you do get irritated with fall outs, this is not a blush for you.

For $3 I definitely think these are worth it! Highly highly pigmented (Think Nars), great colours selection, they look good on the skin (not ashy) and they cost so little! (:

NARS Crazy Haul!

So about a fews weeks ago I posted a blog post announcing the Seohora Family & Friends sale! Not too sure how many of you caught on it & seized the chance to order some stuff, but I definitely did!:) I ordered some things which I needed & some that, I didn’t need :p haha. My friend Wendy helped me to get all my stuff! So thanks Wendy! <3

Let’s start out with the things I needed, so I feel slightly less guilty! :p haha. I needed a new serum & I know I did a post where I featured hydraquench, but I also wanted something to brighten my skin! & when I saw this on the site, I knew I had to get it! Clarins + set + sale = I have to get! haha that’s the Clarins junkie in me talking! It was a really good deal! For the amount I paid I would only be able to get the serum in Singapore, with $10 extra change. For the same price I managed to get the serum (full size), day lotion (full size), night cream(baby size), spf 50 (baby size). Pretty good deal! I’m probably gonna use this in the night & use hydraquench in the day! If you guys want to see a skincare routine post do let me know!

On to things which I didn’t really need but wanted. First was my MUFE HD foundation, I have been dying to try this! I hear so many things about it & it retails for like $78 in Singapore (correct me if I’m wrong). So when I knew about the sale I decided this is something which i NEED! I’ve used it once & I like it However if you are the kind which need heavy coverage, or have scars that you want to cover up. This is not going to work as well for you. I’m NC45 in MAC & I use #173, if you were wondering.

Next thing I got which I have been leeming for abit, which is also kinda pricey is the YSL Touche Eclat in #4! I have been thinking of it for awhile but never got around to getting it, so I decided to seize the 20% & get it! I’ve tried it once so abit to preliminary to decide how I feel, will probably do a review if anyone wants to read a review

I have been on a NARS kick! Been getting so many things from NARS, they have amazing products! Pity we don’t get it in Singapore! I got the Follow the boys lipgloss set, because I love baby sized stuff! It comes with Easy Lover, Turkish Delight (super excited to try this!), Moon Fleet & Sweet Revenge. Swatches for these will be up later on, once I’ve used it! I kinda don’t want to use it, they look so cute in the box, but I will!haha!

Blush! how can I skip on that right? :p Nars Blush in Desire! Pretty pretty baby doll pink, it is very sheer but definitely can be build up! I feel that NARS blushes are very universal, they make it in a way which suits fairer & darker skin tones! I love that about NARS! Good on you NARS

I went abit crazy on NARS lippies! I really wanted to try them, I am kinda upset with the colour selection though! Especially since I was unable to swatch them, I based them off a few site & they colours came out so different! They are not as wearable as I wish they were. I got Shrinagar, Manhunt & Niagara. Shrinagar freaked me out!! When I opened it I was stunned, it was purple, on my lips however is more of a berry, purplish, plumish colour! Quite different from the swatch on my hand! Manhunt is just a sheer red colour, not a colour I will wear on a daily basis but it is a nice colour to have! The most wearable one I would say is Niagara it is a coral colour which I am not extremely fond of BUT I think I might start to like it after using it more often. I LOVE the formulation, they are really very moisturizing! I wish I had gotten Honolulu honey! ahh! Next time next time!

When NARS & MAC meets Benefit!

I’m back! well I was technically not gone, just busy! :p Though I managed to chun out a review last night, despite the full day of work! I really enjoy blogging! Okays enough of the ramble let’s cut to the chase! As I mentioned Operation Blush Out is gonna be coming to you in weekly updates!:)

All the blushes have amazing staying power, as always NARS & MAC. The benefit blush did not last as long as the other 2 but it was okay, maybe like 6 hours? NARS & MAC stayed on for probably about 10-12 hours! Yes I get home from work & I still look like I have blush on! Of course it doesn’t look the same as it did at 7am but you can still see abit of it!

NARS Dolce Vita! I’ve been into the matte blushes phase so this is perfect! I remember the first time I wore this blush I didn’t expect it to be so pigmented, I used abit too much & looked funny, had to remove so much of it off my face! haha Anyway like always NARS blushes have a super long staying power! Really nice dusty rose colour. I think this suits most if not all skin tones too but if you are fairer (think: NC30 & below) I would say use a stippling brush else it will look too heavy!

NARS Deep throat. Need I say anything more? haha!If you have been around the beauty community on youtube or blogs for long enough you know that saying NARS Deep throat explains it all.LOL! But for those of you who don’t know, let me have the honour of enlightening you! I once tweeted and asked which NARS blush are amongst your must haves & one of my lovely friends, Roseanne told me I needed to get this. So I did & I never looked back! It is so much prettier than NARS orgasm which is NARS’s most popular blush. This gives you a flush which I just can’t describe! It looks so natural with really really little micro-shimmer so you can’t really see it but it still gives your cheeks some dimension & best of all ?It is so flattering for every skin tone! The next time you think NARS, don’t think orgasm think DEEP THROAT

Yes I broke this blush! I broke it when I was in aussie filming my first youtube video ever! Which was on my previous channel! So upsetting! I love love love this blush. I even wnted to buy a new one (since it’s LE) from one of the online retaliers! I didn’t but was super tempted! It’s perfect because I LOVE glowy cheeks (which I guess you would already know) this is perfect for the lazy days. It’s a blush & highlight all at the same time! 1 swipe & you’re out the door!haha No fuss at all (unless you have a broken one like mine:/ makinng it abit harder to work with!)

This is the blush which everyone says is a universally flattering colour, I used to agree BUT for some REALLY obscure reason, it didn’t really flatter me that much yesterday! booo! I think it might be because I was in a hurry or I really don’t know but I was kinda sad & I’ll have to wait till my operation blush out is over till I try it again! I still love it since it is peach-y + pink-y so really unique but I will have to get back to you on how much I love it now :p I loved it so much I bought it as one of the present for my best friend’s 21st!

I dare say that this blush is one of the few which can fall into the catergory of being my all time favourite blush! I’m super super glad I got it especially since it was limited edition from the spring colour forecast collection! *I hope next year’s spring collection has some cool stuf like this!* I have 3 blush ombres (HAHA I know I went crazy for them :p) But this hands down is my favourite one. I’m really into peachy colours I like peachy way more than pinky colours!

Okays so I know this post was kinda different & of course the next post will be better, since this is my first post like this it isn’t as pretty as I want it to be!Leave a comment & tell me how you like/don’t like this format. I kinda think it’s nicer because it spices things up abit, instead of seeing a boring picture of a blush. It takes more time but I really enjoy how it looks, but then again if you guys don’t like it then I’ll change it back to the way it was!
